Hey everybody, hope you're all having a great week.

I'm been having loads of free time to read about new techniques and new inspirations for photography, so I hope to go out for a good shoot any time soon.

Also, I've caught a great deal for an SB-800 speedlight, which will allow me to work more on portraits, which I had been planning to do for a while now.

And to add to it, I've been invited by grandfather to join him in a 7-day trip to Africa in the african lodges, which is huge! I'm really looking forward to it, as it will obviously offer great photo opportunities.

And because of that, I've decided to have my 18-200 VR checked out by Nikon to make sure all my gear is at best. Besides, I'm asking my grandmother to buy me a Nikon D80 body when she goes to Hong Kong in a few days, because there's no way I can know when its successor will come, and even if I did, I don't think its new habbilities will do any good - leastways not for me.

So, all in all, I've been invited to a once in a lifetime trip to Africa, I've bougt a flash and a check-up on my lens and I've almost bought a D80 body (I'll only buy it if it's selling for less than 475€

Pretty good week to me, then. Not to so good for my bank account though..
